About Andre
I am a Revenue Accounting Manager with over 4 years of corporate accounting experience and 2 years of public accounting experience. My career has been built on mastering the complexities of revenue recognition, financial reporting, and managerial strategy for multi-million dollar organizations. I hold a degree in Accounting from DePaul University and I deal with the real-world application of GAAP and ASC 606 standards every single day."
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe accounting is the 'language of business,' but too often, it’s taught in a way that feels like a foreign language. My goal as a tutor is to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application. I don’t just want you to memorize a formula for an exam; I want you to understand the 'why' behind the entry. Once you understand the logic, the math becomes the easy part.
