About Scoggins

Who am I? I’m a Jill of All Trades and Master of Many! My journey has been anything but ordinary, and I’ve woven together a rich tapestry of teaching, learning, and hands-on experience to help others succeed. My Teaching Roots: I began my teaching career at just 19, earning my Montessori certification from the Education Center of the Rockies and teaching young minds aged 3-6. Later, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval and Renaissance Studies, along with minors in English, History, and Pre-Law/Philosophy. From there, I moved to Texas and earned my Special Education teaching certification, teaching Resource Math at the local high school. (Funny enough, math wasn’t my passion, but it’s something I still tutor to this day!) Finding My Calling: In 2003, I transitioned to massage therapy and discovered my true passion. Since 2004, I’ve been working in massage and spa therapy, completing 888 hours of advanced training and accumulating thousands of hours of continuing education over the last 20 years. Teaching Meets Massage: In 2016, I became a licensed massage instructor and began teaching continuing education courses, tutoring students for the MBLEx, and sharing my expertise in meditation, chakra and energy healing, and more. I also earned my certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, further expanding my skills. Diversified Expertise: Today, I run my own business where I: Teach massage continuing education courses. Tutor students for the MBLEx. Help middle schoolers with English and Reading Comprehension. Guide students in Life Skills Math. Provide insights into energy healing and holistic practices. With every step of my journey, I’ve embraced lifelong learning, and I’m passionate about sharing that knowledge to help others grow and succeed.
