About Stefan
As someone who experienced difficulties throughout much of middle and high school as a result of not having the support that I needed, I fully understand how important it is to have someone you are able to form a genuine connection with and act as a guide, especially someone that you are able to relate to.
I do everything I can to meet those needs for support in a way where a student is able to see how their skills genuinely improve and inspire confidence in their work moving forward.

I believe in forming genuine connections with each student, adapting to every individual's unique needs to help them thrive. The basic structure of my lessons would start with identifying the needs/goals (What do we want to achieve?), creating a ranked list of them (How can we organize this in a way that makes the most sense?), working together to create a 'plan' to meet those goals (How do we want to tackle this?), and then guided instruction and work. I also adapt this structure based on a student's needs from lesson-to-lesson.
I work best with people in the middle school through high school age groups, and specialize in teaching art mediums, techniques, topics, and helping students prepare their portfolios for applications to arts colleges.
