About Camilla
Precision in POSTURE AND HOLD alongside expert INTONATION define my technical foundation. After 13 years as a teacher, I observe that clarity in physical mechanics remains the most elusive hurdle for many. My studio currently supports performance focused students, returning learners, and dedicated hobbyists who seek a disciplined environment.
Before teaching, I spent 13 years immersed in youth symphony and regional chamber ensembles. I approach my pedagogy through the lens of a chamber musician who values the intimacy between violin and piano scores. My methodology integrates shifting positions, tuning by ear, and sophisticated tone production.
I work closely with students to refine vibrato and complex spiccato and staccato bowing. Integrating music theory helps learners grasp the structure of orchestral playing. I hold my students to high standards. My commitment to clarity is absolute.
