About Philippe

My method involves a first class focused on establishing the student's current abilities and an interesting objective to be reached by the end of the course; Usually a game/application that works on areas of learning that are missing or underdeveloped.
My objective is to provide the student with the path and the necessary assistance so that they can, at the end of the established course, have a project (application or game) to use and/or share with whomever they want.

About the lesson

I am a game programmer working primarily with Unity and Unreal engine.
Graduated as a physics professor at UFF and post-graduated in digital game development at Estácio.
I developed games as a hobby for more than 8 years before completely embracing the hobby as a profession and today being part of the development team of The Light of the Darkness. Even though I now have the academic background to teach in the "traditional" way, I still believe that the best way to learn how to make games is to do it.

Durante a aula experimental concluímos que o melhor caminho para ele não seriam aulas particulares de programação. Foi muito educado e apreciou os conselhos, dicas e indicações e torço para que ele tenha encontrado o profissional/profissionais que precisa para desenvolver seu aplicativo.

Apesar de não termos iniciado as aulas por fatores que inviabilizariam o processo. O aluno se mostrou educado ao apresentar seus motivos e creio que qualquer tutor ficaria feliz em ajudá-lo.

Depending on the complexity of the game/app to be developed over the course there may be a fluctuation on the charged value. Simpler subject can result in discounts and tougher ones in a slightly higher fee, up to 15USD/hour. The value will be agreed upon after the first class after discussing the student's needs.
