About Cathy
I am a recent Townsend Harris High School graduate and I am hoping to major in life sciences in college. Recently, I took AP Biology and Calculus AB. I have a 4.0 GPA in my classes and I am a STEM person! I've tutored kids on the spectrum before and elementary school kids, helping them with their homework and providing enrichment.

I approach each subject based on topic, starting with content, and then practice problems. This is because I believe that even though learning new information is important, I believe the most important thing is applying this information and knowing when to use certain rules and laws. I try to explain things in multiple ways until my student understands so they can approach different problems with an understanding of what the question is asking.
