About Diana
I'm a rising senior at Bloomfield Hills High School with over two years of experience tutoring K-9 students. I also run a non-profit organization called STEMsters where I help introduce younger students to STEM through hands-on activities and lessons. Between tutoring and STEMsters, I've gained experience working with students of different ages and learning styles. A few months ago, I even helped one of my students raise their math grade from a C- to an A-. As a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn't immediately click, so I'm patient, encouraging, and always willing to explain something in a new way.

I believe math becomes much easier when it's explained in a way that makes sense to each individual student. I adjust my teaching style based on how a student learns best and break difficult problems into simple, manageable steps. During lessons, I first identify what the student is struggling with, work through examples together, and then let them try independently with my guidance. I tutor K-9 students in math and focus on creating a patient, comfortable environment where students can ask questions with no hesitation. My goal overall is to make math feel less intimidating--and maybe even turn "I hate math" into "wait, this is actually kind of fun!!"
