About Jack
- I am a 22-year-old UC Berkeley Physics/Astrophysics student. I transferred into Berkeley after getting my associate's in Physics, Astronomy, and Mathematics at the College of San Mateo.
- I was always quite good at school until COVID, where I struggled to stay focused and to complete any of my assignments. Once I graduated high school, I knew I still wanted to still pursue higher education and enrolled in community college. I improved year after year of my time there, and eventually was able to transfer to UC Berkeley last year. I've loved every second I've been here and while the path was challenging I feel it has given me the resolve and perspective to be successful in tutoring for people who are currently navigating their own path of learning.
- In my free time I love to go climbing, go camping, or to travel with my friends.

- I believe the most important takeaway in any lesson is to better understand the fundamentals of the subject at hand, I try to always emphasize this in mine.
- Learning is not meant to feel like busy work or to induce anxiety and frustration, rather it is a welcome challenge that doesn't make you feel like you are losing but rather climbing.
- I believe tutoring is meant to be more enjoyable than normal school lessons, and not less. I try to make this into a reality and I find that not all tutors understand that and many actually believe the opposite.
- I can give lessons on any middle to high school level math/physics subjects, and I can even add in some lower division college level subjects if I feel that the student can handle it or just eager to learn them.
