About Derick
I am a rising senior at LHS and I've taken 5 AP's, Honors Pre-Calc, and two college level courses. I currently work at Kumon so I have a good understanding of teaching people around grades 3-9. I am incredibly patient and do not get frustrated easily, if you struggle just let me know!

Throughout my years of schooling the biggest thing that commonly fails a student is a lack of understanding. This can be avoided by subjects being explained simply, yet thoroughly. Typical lesson plan will be teaching a concept practicing that concept several times with guidance and clear explainations. To build the students strength, taught concepts will be used every lesson at least once through a set of practice problems.
These lessons are for students grades 7-10.
