About Kathleen
Reading tabs, improvisation, and mastering chord transitions are the core skills I share with students. Playing rhythm guitar, scales, modes, and barre chords helps you understand the fretboard while we tackle power chords or ear training. My approach is simple because we learn songs to see exactly why they work.
I have spent 13 years teaching out of my studio in Nashville. You can expect a loose vibe that keeps things fun while staying focused on the music. I prefer to keep the technique stuff grounded in actual playing rather than dry exercises.
