About Christina
First and foremost, I am wholeheartedly committed to the field of education. I hold a patent attorney certificate, an intermediate economist certificate, and an ESG certificate. These diverse qualifications have provided me with a well-rounded skill set, enabling me to offer unique perspectives and insights during my Chinese language lessons.
Furthermore, my passion for teaching and promoting Chinese language and culture drives me to continuously enhance my knowledge and teaching methods. I dedicate time to staying abreast of the latest language acquisition research, educational trends, and cultural developments. By doing so, I can ensure that my teaching is relevant, engaging, and in line with the needs and interests of my students.
One small note is that I can only work on weekends. Even so. I am confident that my availability on weekends, coupled with my expertise and passion for teaching, will provide students with an exceptional educational journey.
Lastly, my broad background in patent law, economics, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) further enriches my teaching approach. By integrating real-world examples and current events into my lessons, I provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Chinese language and culture, while also highlighting their relevance in various professional and global contexts.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
As a Chinese teacher, my teaching method revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that caters to the specific needs and learning styles of my students. I believe in a communicative approach, where students actively participate in class through various speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. I encourage students to practice their language skills through role-plays, discussions, and real-life scenarios. Additionally, I integrate multimedia resources, such as videos, audio clips, and online platforms, to enhance the learning experience.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
My typical lesson plan includes a well-structured outline that covers key language components, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural insights. The lesson starts with an engaging warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge and set the tone for the class. I then introduce new vocabulary and grammar points through interactive presentations and explanations. Next, I provide ample opportunities for students to practice and reinforce their understanding through pair or group activities, games, and exercises. Finally, the lesson concludes with a summary and a short assessment to gauge students' progress.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential. I believe in building strong relationships with my students, understanding their individual goals and challenges, and tailoring my teaching approach accordingly. I am patient, approachable, and adaptable, and I strive to foster a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and taking risks in their language learning journey. Moreover, my passion for Chinese language and culture shines through my teaching, inspiring students to develop a genuine interest and appreciation for the subject.
Who the Lessons Are For:
My teaching experience spans a wide range of learners, including different degrees, levels, and specificities. I have worked with students from beginner to advanced levels, catering to both academic and practical language needs. Whether teaching university students, professionals, or language enthusiasts, I adapt my lessons to meet the unique requirements and objectives of each group. I have experience teaching specific skills such as business Chinese, HSK exam preparation, and Chinese for travel and daily life situations.
