About Samuel
I am a Scottish-Chinese composer, songwriter and instrumentalist living and working in Glasgow. I currently study composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and play an active part in the city's musical community and industry. I specialise in film music, contemporary classical, and sonic arts.

I will teach according to ABRSM and SQA textbooks and guidelines and can start from any level. My overall lesson plans are structured around working towards an exam. A typical lesson will last an hour, however I am happy to hold longer sessions if preferred.
Each lesson will be divided between interactive learning, musical exercises, and past paper questions. Every lesson will focus on a specific topic, whether it be rhythm, harmony, composition, history, etc.
My goal for my students is to ensure they face their examinations with the tools and confidence to achieve distinctions and high As, while also finding fulfilment and joy in their musicianship.
