About Patrick
Hi, I'm Patrick.
I'm a Russell Group graduate with A-Level grades of AAB in Maths, Economics and Business, and I currently work in a commercial sales role. My academic background and professional experience allow me to bring subjects to life through practical, real-world examples that go beyond the textbook.
Having successfully navigated A-Levels, university applications and the transition into a professional career, I understand the challenges students face and the skills needed to stand out. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding of Economics and Business, and develop the exam technique required to achieve their goals.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect academic concepts to the real world. Whether it's applying economic theory to current events, understanding how businesses operate in practice, or preparing for university and future careers, I aim to make learning engaging, relevant and rewarding.
My goal is not only to help students achieve stronger grades but also to equip them with the confidence and critical thinking skills that will benefit them long after their exams are over.

My name is Patrick, and I offer support in A-Level Economics, Business Studies, and university applications.
My teaching approach is centred around understanding how each student learns best. I use practical, real-world examples from business, economics, and my experience working in commercial sales to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Lessons are interactive, focused on building confidence, strengthening exam technique, and developing a deeper understanding of key topics rather than simply memorising content.
I typically offer 2-hour sessions, which mirrors the length of many A-Level examinations and allows enough time to cover content, work through examples, and practise exam-style questions.
I am a Russell Group graduate with A-Level grades of AAB in Maths, Economics, and Business. While I am new to formal tutoring, I bring strong academic foundations and professional experience that help students connect what they learn in the classroom to the real world.
My lessons are primarily aimed at students aged 16–19 studying A-Level Economics or Business, as well as those preparing for university applications. However, I am happy to work with anyone looking to improve their understanding of these subjects or gain guidance on university entry and future career pathways.
