About Helen

I am a music education major at Portland State University with a degree in music theory and piano studies. Aside from that, I've taken private lessons from world-renowned professors for 10+ years. Now I'm just looking to share all of this knowledge with students of the same passion for music.

I believe learning music should be an enjoyable and engaging experience while also recognizing that every student learns differently. By adapting my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, I strive to create lessons that build confidence, encourage independence, and inspire a lasting love for music. My goal is to help every student grow into a confident musician who feels comfortable playing the piano on their own.

I look forward to being part of your musical journey!
