About Julia
I’m a graphic design student at San Francisco State University with a strong love for creativity and visual storytelling. Painting is one of my favorite ways to express myself, and I’m always inspired by art, books, and the places I get to explore. I enjoy reading across different genres and finding new environments that spark curiosity and fresh ideas.
I grew up speaking Russian and continue to feel deeply connected to the language and culture. Along with Russian, I also speak a little French, which has further fueled my interest in languages and communication. I’m naturally curious and love asking questions, learning about people’s experiences, and having meaningful conversations.
I value connection and authenticity, and I believe learning a language should feel enjoyable rather than intimidating. My goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming space where we can have fun conversations, share ideas, and build confidence while improving your Russian together.

Hi, my name is Julia. I was raised in the Bay Area and am a native Russian speaker. I provide casual, conversation-focused Russian lessons tailored to your level and goals. During each lesson, I assign a topic and guide you through natural, real-life conversations to help you improve fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. My approach is relaxed and supportive, making it ideal for learners who want practical speaking practice without stress.
