About Oxana

Hi there! I am Oxana. I am from Russia but now I live in Germany. I teach Russian online and I am happy to help my students develop the following skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. I design my lessons individually and use the latest relevant material. I enjoy learning languages myself and understand exactly where you might need support.

About the lesson

- In our first conversation I would like to know why you would like to learn Russian and what level you are at. Is it because your partner is Russian? Are you planning to move to Russia? Would you like to be able to understand Russian films and books?
- I teach students from A1 to C2.
- I use the communicative methodology, that means we will talk a lot and use the current material that will help you to express yourself in Russian independently.
-I recommend 1 - 1.5 h. long lessons

Oxana spricht Russisch als Muttersprache und fließend Deutsch. Sie hat ein gutes Sprachverständnis um als Mittler zwischen der russischen und deutschen Sprache zu fungieren. Grammatikalische Themen und Besonderheiten bei der Wortwahl wie auch im Satzbau beider Sprachen versteht sie leicht verständlich zu vermitteln. Ihre stringente didaktische Vorgehensweise erleichtert und beschleunigt das Erlernen der russischen Sprache. Durch ihre akademischen Studien in Business Management ist Oxana in der Lage auch komplexe wirtschaftliche Themen in die russische Sprache zu übertragen. I’ve been travelling for a bit to different parts of the world. With the whole current pandemic situation I had to put it on hold. I’m hoping to travel across Russia and east Europe next year and whole searching for where I can learn a bit of Russian I stumbled upon Oxana’s page. I’ve just started classes with her about a month ago and I think she’s really a great teacher. She really takes her time to explain and doesn’t rush things. This is especially meaningful for me since I’m a slow learner.
