About William
I hold a B.S. in Astrophysics from Rutgers University and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Applied Physics at Johns Hopkins University. I can tutor mathematics from algebra and precalculus through multivariable calculus, linear algebra, ordinary differential equations, and partial differential equations. In physics, I can assist with introductory and university physics as well as classical mechanics, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics.

I focus on helping students understand why a method works, not just how to copy a procedure. My approach is step-by-step and problem-centered: we identify the concept being tested, work through the mathematics carefully, and then practice similar problems until the student can solve them independently.
