About Samie

I worked for one of the biggest IT Companies in the world, IBM, for more than 34 years. Most of these years were in a management position, both is sales and in services.
In the 90’s, customers demanded that services be optional when purchasing a product. Prior to this request, any services related to the product was included in the price. This created a new sales opportunity. This is how my sales experience started when I was asked to become the first services salesperson.
In 2010 I was asked to become involved in Sales training /coaching for all customer facing employees.
This was when I realised my passion is helping salespeople to be more successful.

About the lesson

After more than 34 years in the corporate world, mostly in a management role, both in sales and services, it was only in the last 10 years, after I became a Sales Coach, that I know I can make a difference to sales teams and their companies. This is using my experience to coach and mentor salespeople to be successful and become trusted advisors to their clients.

My methodology includes, but is not limited to, proofreading proposals, role play of various customer positions, call structure, call preparation, objection handling, CCF (Client Conversation Framework) and helping with various aspects of the total sales cycle.

The result is that the salesperson is much better prepared for the customer engagement.

The training over the past few years includes students (Sellers) across the globe and virtual training/coaching is done mostly via Cisco Webex, MS Teams but also using other applications such as Zoom. The education / coaching session can also be performed during various time zones. This includes individual one on one sessions and team sessions.

Currently, and for the past 10 years, I am delivering Sales Coaching to the IBM company and from a personal side, I continue to educate myself to improve the coaching / sales training I deliver. I have recently completed Advance Sales Coaching Approach education and I am in the process of completing various other training modules, all related to coaching salespeople.
I do believe that I can help salespeople be better prepared for their customer meetings and more importantly, help them to be more successful.I am passionate about helping, coaching and mentoring salespeople.
