I’ve been learning French with Charlotte for 2 years now. She is easily able to adapt lessons and learning styles to suit needs - and is able to gauge strengths and weakness really well. She makes lessons fun (amidst all the grammar!) and keeps them dynamic so they’re never boring. I highly recommend Charlotte as a tutor; she always prepares for the lessons and keeps you challenged!

Charlotte has been my French tutor for three years providing me with weekly one-to-one conversation classes. I have now reached a level (B2) where I can confidently hold a conversation with native French speakers.

Charlotte is an excellent French tutor. She has a friendly, enthusiastic and helpful approach to her tutoring and can tailor the lessons to your specific needs.
She is patient and encouraging and I felt I learned and improved a lot, from my time with her.
It is also helpful that her spoken English is excellent, so she has complete understanding of both languages and she is a stickler for correct grammar, which is a very useful tool!
Her knowledge covers all aspects of learning French and I can't recommend her too highly.
She is also very flexible so lessons can be fitted in easily.

My daughter started her French lessons with Charlotte at the eleventh hour for her GCSEs! Charlotte was very helpful in every way, taking charge of the situation and helping reduce panic and stress caused by the exams. She didn’t just tutor my daughter for French but became a general mentor even when we finished lessons with her. Her lessons were linked with work at school and she always checked and followed up with test preparation and results. I would recommend Charlotte for high achievers, struggles, just starting French or near exams.

I spent 3 days with Charlotte on her intense French course and just had the best time. She has such an inspired view to teaching. Lesson plans are tailored to your needs. We spent time in cafes and restaurants. A walk around Liverpool describing buildings and a trip to the Tate describing the paintings (all in French of course - slipping into English not allowed!) was good fun. She encourages you all the time and so patient! I have since had more lessons and intend to keep on - my French has really improved. Charlotte is so passionate about her love of the French language you’ll find it contagious. Jan Scott
