About Katharine

Hi! I’m a teacher candidate at Glendon Campus, York University, specializing in French Studies and Social Sciences, graduating in the spring of 2025. With years of experience in French as a Second Language and a focus on personalized learning, I’m here to help you succeed. Learning this language and exploring its diverse culture has always inspired me to help others on their learning journey. My lessons are engaging, flexible, and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, I’ll guide you step by step to reach your goals. I hope you find learning French with me fun and rewarding!

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor:
I believe in making learning personalized and engaging by using fun slides, videos, activities, readings, digital games etc. My lessons are tailored to your unique needs by combining clear explanations, interactive activities, and real-world examples to build your confidence in French.

A Typical Lesson:
We’ll start by reviewing what you know, dive into new concepts (like grammar or speaking), and practice through fun, hands-on activities. Every session ends with a quick recap and tips to keep improving.

What Makes Me Different:
I focus on collaboration—you learn from me, and I learn from you! My background in French Studies and Social Sciences brings culture and context to our lessons to make learning meaningful.

Who It’s For:
I teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, whether you’re preparing for school, exams, or personal growth in French. Let’s achieve your goals together!
