About Amna

I am passionate about creating a supportive and structured learning environment. If you are looking for a dedicated tutor who can provide a clear roadmap to SAT success, please feel free to send me a message. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have! I am currently preparing for my own SAT retake in October to further solidify my expertise. Therefore, I will be officially beginning tutoring sessions in mid-October once those results are available. In the meantime, I am thoroughly updating my curriculum and strategies based on the very latest format of the exam.

Strategic SAT Prep: Master Math, English, and the Digital Desmos Calculator

My comprehensive tutoring sessions are designed to break down the Math and English sections into manageable, strategic steps, transforming your anxiety into confidence. I focus on providing the tools and personalized practice you need to see real, measurable improvement.

My method will be tailored to your specific strengths and weaknesses to ensure every minute of our session is effective.

Here’s what you will get:

· Desmos Mastery: The digital SAT has a powerful, built-in graphing calculator (Desmos) that most students underuse. I will teach you how to leverage it to solve entire classes of algebra and geometry problems in seconds, giving you a huge time-saving advantage on the Math section.
· Personalized Practice Plans: After reviewing your practice test results, I will create customized practice questions and drills targeting your specific weak areas. This means you won’t waste time on concepts you’ve already mastered.
· Conceptual Understanding & Strategy: We will solidify your knowledge of key grammar rules and math formulas, but more importantly, we’ll focus on time-management techniques and how to deconstruct different question types strategically.
· Progress Tracking: We will use full-length practice tests to benchmark your starting point and track your improvement over time, so you can see your score climb.

My approach is especially effective for students preparing for their exam in the next 3-6 weeks, providing an intensive, focused boot camp to maximize their score.
