I've known Luiza ever since we were in middle school. She was always very proactive and helpful. Whenever I had questions regarding math or any other subject, she would calmly explain the topic until I understood everything. Even to this day, when i had to pass my SAT, there was a certain topic I just could not understand. Quadratics. Her teaching methods were unique, that made math despite being a serious subject look more understandable and entertaining due to comparison of mathematical problems with real life experience and memes. She kept asking if we understood the material and after explaining each topic asked questions to include us in process as well.

Personally, I have attended many of her sessions on SchoolHouse and can confidently say that her tutoring is on par with many of the school teachers or professors I have worked with in the past. I could really tell that she was experienced, since she managed the class and divided her attention between the students masterfully. She was keen on showing all of her students personal approaches to understanding important concepts. It was clear that she understood that people take in information in a plethora of ways. The most important thing that I noticed about her tutoring, is that she does it with passion. It felt as if a friend were clearly explaining a topic to me before a test, helping break that initial barrier that is often present between a tutor and a student, since she understands the struggles of students very well. While being extremely welcoming and outgoing, she never loses her professional focus, ensuring a structured and comfortable learning environment.
