Hi! I'm Zhansulu, a final-year student at Nazarbayev University, one of the leading universities in Central Asia, and a passionate SAT Math & Verbal tutor for 5 years.

I personally scored 1520/1600 on the SAT, including a perfect 800/800 in Math, and I have experience helping students prepare for the Digital SAT and achieve their academic goals.

Over the course of my teaching experience, I've worked with students of different levels, from those just beginning their SAT preparation to those aiming for competitive scores of 1400–1500+. My students have achieved impressive results, including 1540/1600 and 1470/1600, with one student improving by 160 points.

What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing students gain confidence and realize that even the most challenging questions become manageable with the right approach.

My students often describe me as patient, supportive, and easy to communicate with, while also being demanding when it comes to making real progress.

About the lesson

My SAT lessons are designed to help students not only understand the concepts but also develop effective strategies to solve questions faster and more accurately.

Having scored 1520/1600 on the SAT, including a perfect 800/800 in Math, I know firsthand what it takes to achieve a competitive score. My students have achieved results such as 1540/1600 and 1470/1600, including a 160-point improvement.

My teaching approach:
- Personalized learning: I identify each student's strengths and weaknesses and create a study plan based on their current level and target score.
- Smart strategies: I teach time-saving techniques, Desmos shortcuts, elimination methods, and exam-specific approaches.
- Practice and feedback: We work through real SAT-style questions, analyze mistakes, and focus on areas that need improvement.
- Time management: I help students become more confident and efficient under exam conditions.

We start by reviewing previous mistakes, then focus on a specific SAT Math or Reading & Writing topic. I explain key concepts, demonstrate efficient solving methods, and guide students through practice questions. Each lesson includes targeted exercises and recommendations for independent study.

My lessons are suitable for students preparing for their first Digital SAT as well as those looking to improve an existing score.

I believe that SAT preparation should be structured, effective, and enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions while staying motivated to achieve their goals.
