We have known Katy for many years now. She has taught piano to one son and classical and then electrical guitar to the other. She is an amazing teacher !
She loves her work, she loves music and is so natural and enthusiastic during her lessons. She finds out what sort of music they are interested in. She is always encouraging - even if the boys haven't done much practice she doesn't embarrass them - she's there to get on with the lesson and to encourage them. They are relaxed when with her and she is has given them confidence in their ability.

Love having her in our house for the lessons - she is polite, kind, fun, courteous, calm, and upbeat.
She started teaching one of my sons when he was about 7 years old, he's now 18 - she is a great teacher - whatever the age.

As you can see, I just can't fault her !! She's brilliant!

Katy did a Children's Party for our young son with about 15 3-4 year olds. She was amazing from start to finish. Engaging, playing music, getting them to dance, pass the parcel, and singing. The kids loved it, would definitely have her again, and would really recommend her on all levels.
