I like to really help the student become the teacher. I'm not here to give you the answers or write them down, but to, hopefully, help each student to first understand what the teacher asks of them, let them observe an example problem, complete a problem with me, then explain to me how to do it, completely on their own. This could take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
I am studying Engineering and Information systems in college as of right now. I began to serve as a personal tutor and mentor in high school, mainly focusing on helping peers to better understand the equations and math assignments their teachers couldn't communicate so clearly.
