About Lopamudra
I am a Schulich BBA second-year student and have been giving private and group lessons for the past 5 years. I have been doing at-home private tutoring for all subjects for more then 5 years. I have also worked at a tutoring centre where I did math, english, and science classes for 2 years. I prefer teaching grade7-10 as that's the age group I have the most experience with.

I try to build a friendship with the student. I approach their obstacles in a step-by-step process, prioritising on content that will be tested first. I give homework based on what work the student is struggling with the most, to gain extra practise. I never give homework on material I never taught. I am happy to reschedule dates if something comes up and also provide skype classes and google docs editing from home if that's what the student prefers sometimes. I prefer weekly classes and although I'm willing to reschedule days, I believe its important not to skip a class as it leads to students falling behind. I am always open to suggestions from students and parents and enjoy constructive feedback which I can use to be a better teacher.
