About Diya

With over four years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with students of all levels and learning styles. I’ve led annual summer workshops on Microbiology and Disease for international students, and I’ve coached middle schoolers to excel in competitive science programs. I teach effective study methods and my students have taken grades from Ds to As and maintained them. I've worked with all kinds of learners and know how to adjust my teaching to both support and challenge every student to exceed their potential.

About the lesson

I teach grades 6-11 in science and math subjects and offer targeted prep for AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Statistics.

Each student’s plan is personalized: we start by setting up weekly or biweekly sessions, then build a custom timeline and syllabus based on your goals, tests, and upcoming assignments. Lessons combine school materials with my own PowerPoints, handouts, and guided practice.

I teach through real-world situations, models, and plenty of practice problems to make concepts actually click. My goal is to make complicated topics simple, engaging, and fun to learn!
