About Andre

Have a degree in Audio Engineering, dropped in and out of a Mechanical Engineering Degree right out of High school and recently paused a part time online Psychology degree (was aiming to become a trained Psychotherapist focally issuing existential psychology/logotherapy (the work of Viktor Frankl and co), but due to external circumstances (covid, and life issues) - have now taken on a different track of teaching myself computer science, low and high level programming (C, Assembly, and Python), and am about to commence a Cyber Security degree in a month.

I focus highly on a range of different methodologies and pedagogical methods, depending on the student or client: I can go at a slow, elementary pace - or quick and adapting to a speedy learner in a beat. I work best with someone who is inquisitive and is always wanting to ask questions about why or what or how the presented material or substance or examined work is how it is - the metaphysics or metalinguistics behind the subject itself, you could say. I can be very deeply analytical if the learning environment calls for it, however, I am very very capable of catering my methods towards complete beginners and those struggling to grasp the basics of a new subject/topic/field. I have been told I have a very calming and therapeutic demeanour in voice/video chat discussions over the last decade constantly (as I was aiming to be a therapist, this was a plus for me) - but I have found that this brings a very comfortable, and easy learning environment to whomever I am teaching.
