About Julian
I am a science graduate with honours in the field of genetics. I have the most experience in Biology but am also very much interested in physics and chemistry. I have also studied mathematics, both at university and through my own interests. I have worked as a university tutor for a couple of semesters, I have given private lessons to primary and high school students, and I have completed one year of studying secondary education including 5 weeks of work experience at a high school.

I believe in the constructivist theory of learning. This means I appreciate that a persons understanding and learning capabilities are based on their previous experiences and understandings. I, therefore, attempt to help my students build their understanding of a topic by taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and prior learning. I have a love for science and mathematics that I try to pass on to my students whenever possible.
