About Megan
My name is Megan, I am currently going into my second year in science at John Abbott College. I have previously tutored high school students in enriched math, enriched science and history. I've taken all the advanced classes my high school had to offer (including math, chemistry and physics) and I'm comfortable helping out in any.

I like to base my teaching methods on the students needs. I usually have a quick orientation session with them, to get a sense of what they're expecting out of this experience. I then prepare quick slides to go through with them. If they don't come to me with homework questions, they I prepare some of my own in advance. II try and encourage students to tackle the problems as if I wasn't there, and then I jump in when I need to, this way it helps them with their critical thinking skills.
