About Kieran
Hi, my name is Kieran and I have taught science in England and Scotland and am familiar with both systems. My specialism is chemistry, but I have also had experience teaching Physics, Biology and Maths up to GCSE (National 5 equivalent).
I'm laid back, but also enthusiastic and find ways to link learning with a student's interests to make it relevant and easier to grasp. Although I've had no private tutoring experience, I have taught students on a one-to-one basis is schools and worked individually with students to the same effect. I have plenty of resources available and the ability to make others to suit the need of any individual. I can quickly assess when something needs to be scaffolded to help a student understand something, as well as step things up and push them when they get there.
