About Guy

Hi, I’m Guy!

I study Scots Law at the University of Strathclyde and hold a Diploma in Legal Services. I know how intense legal studies can be, and I’m here to help make them clearer and more manageable. I’ve worked through both college and university, developed strong legal writing and critical thinking skills, and supported fellow students through mentoring and the university law clinic. I’ve also represented Strathclyde in competitive sailing and rowing—so I know how to stay focused under pressure. Outside of law, I enjoy hiking and sailing across Scotland.

My sessions are friendly, encouraging, and designed to help you build confidence and really get to grips with your course.

About the lesson

Studying Scots Law shouldn’t feel impossible. I keep lessons simple, practical, and tailored to you. Whether you need help with legal concepts, writing technique, or building exam confidence, we’ll focus on what works best for your learning style. I support college and university students across a wide range of subjects, including:

Each session runs for 1 to 2 hours and comes with a personalised study plan and weekly goals to help you stay organised and motivated. If you’re studying in person at my property, you’ll enjoy complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits in a luxury, student-designed space with access to private study zones—a calm, comfortable environment to learn without pressure.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Any lessons missed without prior notice or a valid reason will be charged as a full session, unless there are exceptional circumstances. I’m understanding—just keep me in the loop when possible.
