About Cassia
I'm Cassia, a script editor and tutor based in London. My undergraduate degree at Cambridge was in Anglo-Saxon, Norse & Celtic, during which I focused on Old English poetry and Viking history, but I spent a lot of my time at university working on plays and film projects, including with the Cambridge Footlights.
I have had a broad education across the humanities, including English Literature, Classics (including Latin and Ancient Greek), History, Modern Languages and Art History. Most recently, I completed a professional diploma in Script Development at the National Film and Television School.

Whether you've always wanted to write a script or you already have a feature burning a hole in your hard drive, I can help you learn the art of screenwriting, from meeting your characters to polishing your final draft. I teach screenwriting in a constructive and hands-on style, helping you get to grips with character, story and genre at your own pace. Introductory lessons are 1 hour, and feedback and workshop sessions are 1 to 2 hours (with a break).
Lesson plans are created based on your needs and ambitions, and the focus is always on your writing. I work with adults of all ages and any level of experience. All I ask is that you also have a passion for writing! I trained at the National Film and Television School in Script Development, and have an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University.
I read and give feedback on professional-standard scripts as part of my day job as a script editor, and I'd love to use those skills to help you tell the stories you care about.
