About Caoilfhionn

I am a scriptwriter and theatre maker based in Dublin. I have recently graduated with a first from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. I studied an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media, and subsequently have worked as a writer and script editor. I also completed an undergraduate degree in English literature and was awarded awarded a H1 in my Leaving Certificate in English.

I have taught both junior and leaving cert students, and have assisted with writing workshops at my university.

Each of my lessons are tailor made to suit the needs of my individual students, with a particular focus on any challenges they have, as well as creative exercises to help them regain enthusiasm for the subject.

About the lesson

My goal as a tutor is to teach English creatively and to add diversity to my teaching methods. It is also in the interest of the student to have a lesson plan tailor made to their individual needs which is something I am happy to assist with. Irrespective of one's current ability, I would include fun exercises in my lesson plans such as story workshopping, English language word games, and text analysis of the students favourite novel, poem, short story or film script.
