About Eloise
Even my employment history is in public administration, I started sewing as a young child attending Singer Sewing School. I continued with courses up to the collegiate level. I branched out to dyeing, painting, designing, sun dyeing, and tye dyeing fabric. I like to experiment with dyes to see the differing effects.
I am also use machine embroidery.

My teaching method is both visual (books/written instructions) and experiential when possible (in person).
I teach methods that are general to basic sewing and those used for specific fabrics and different techniques to accomplish the same sewing goal. I do this because sewers develop individualized preferences for how they do things.
I include at least one session about patten and fabric selection.
