I have a true passion for history and education. Bringing history to life and helping others to understand it brings me a great sense of accomplishment. My role is to be a guide in helping students in not only knowing the material, but also to understand the value of material and its relevance to modern times.

My lesson plans are designed for large groups of students between 10-30 in a non-traditional setting. By scaffolding information, the students are able to build on previously learned information. Through intentional questioning, I facilitate further exploration of the subject matter and develop a deeper understanding of the material. I believe in reviewing and reinforcing information in an interactive and multi-sensory way. While I work with students grades 2-5, my vast knowledge of American History, and I am confident that I can meet the needs of students up to grade 12.
