About Tessa
With 12 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about sharing my love for guitar with students of all ages. I have taught students from school to college level, helping them unlock their musical potential and develop a deep appreciation for music. Over the years, I've had the privilege of guiding students through various styles of guitar, from classical to rock, and seeing them grow both technically and creatively. My dedication to education is rooted in my belief that music has the power to inspire, challenge, and transform. I’m committed to making each lesson enjoyable and rewarding for every student.

As a guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience, my teaching approach is centered around flexibility, positivity, diplomacy, and accountability. I believe each student is unique, so I adapt my lessons to fit their individual learning style and pace. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, I provide a tailored curriculum that ensures steady progress while keeping the learning experience enjoyable.
Positivity is at the core of my teaching. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and grow. I emphasize building confidence and a love for music, which helps students stay motivated.
Diplomacy comes into play as I communicate openly and listen to student needs. I believe in constructive feedback and guiding students through challenges in a calm, patient manner. Accountability is key; I ensure students set realistic goals and stay focused on their musical journey, whether learning classical, jazz, or rock guitar.
In addition to guitar lessons, I offer instruction in music theory and related subjects to give students a well-rounded musical education.
