About Kevin
I am primarily a plant scientist looking to get my career started in winemaking. I began giving lessons in 2015 and have been intermittently giving them since. I have only taught five students, but am looking for more experience. I have a minor in music and have been a gigging jazz player for almost ten years.

I teach methods before I teach technique -- no one can play the correct notes unless they know exactly what it means to play the guitar. My desire is to equip the student with an intimate knowledge of their instrument so they are able not only to play an instrument, but so they can play music.
