About Josephine
Hello I am a Math, English, and Science teacher with over ten years of experience. I also teach ELA to students and enjoy developing the love and understanding of reading in students and adult learners. I used to be a teacher in schools but recently transitioned to online teaching. I have taught English to ESL students for the past 8 years and thoroughly enjoy it. I really enjoy teaching students and adults. I also love the piano and have experience playing it for over 30 years. I have been giving piano lessons for the past 7 years. I also have a background in information technology and give lessons in computer science.

My lessons are designed to assist students in pinpointing where they need more assistance in your specific subject and buildup those skills. Lesson plans usually starts with learning material that is introduced and worked on together. We go through a lesson going over the subject that may include videos, games, and interactive activities. Then the student will get a chance to complete independent practice and show what they have learned. What sets me apart from other teachers is my passion for education and 10 years as a Math and Science teacher for ages K-9th. My lessons are created for everyone but specifically students who are struggling in school and need assistance getting better grades or understanding the material.
