About Peter

I am a recent graduate of Raffles Institution, where I took 4 H2s in PCME, and I currently tutor secondary school and junior college students in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

I have been tutoring students consistently throughout secondary school and junior college, alongside academic commitments and co-curricular involvement, which has shaped a disciplined and structured approach to learning and thus teaching. I have also spent considerable time studying effective learning and revision strategies.

I enjoy helping students gain confidence through clear explanations and structured preparation. Having gone through the same syllabus recently, I am familiar with current exam expectations and aim to guide students through them in a calm, focused, and supportive way.

About the lesson

My lessons are exam-focused and structured for efficient revision. Each session integrates clear explanations, targeted practice, and systematic recall using Anki's spaced repetition program, widely relied on by medical students to retain large volumes of information accurately over time.

At the secondary and junior college level in Singapore, memorisation of definitions, formulas, and standard methods is non-negotiable. I use curated flashcards aligned to syllabus and mark-scheme language to help students lock in key content early, so revision becomes faster, more targeted, and reliable. Lessons typically run 1.5–2 hours and are suited for secondary school and junior college Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
