About Heather
As a mom to a young boy, I know the hustle and bustle of daily routines with school, church, sports, and maintaining a good family and friend social life. I relate to many working moms out there trying to make the best choices for their children's education in today's world. Here's what I can confidently say; Your student will be in a God-fearing, America loving, simple life tutoring environment with none of the ick from the public school systems. I value a homesteading, simple life so don't be surprised if Math turns into baking sourdough or food preservation measurements or Science turns into the life cycle of chickens! The best lessons don't have to be done with pencil and paper! Character counts in my book!

Having a background with early elementary students, I realize not all students are pencil and paper-focused, successful, or driven. I incorporate a lot of songs, hands-on activities, and project-based learning lessons for students to grasp learning, not just for a test, but for life!
