About Chantal

My name is Chantal. I graduated secondary school in 2024 and am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science, achieving a 5.75 GPA with High Distinction results, including an HD exam performance. Psychology was my strongest and most enjoyable subject throughout high school and continues to be a major passion of mine at university. My interest in psychology stems from a desire to break the stigma surrounding mental health and to help others better understand themselves and the world around them. I have always enjoyed supporting and guiding others in their learning, which has naturally led me to tutoring students at VCE and first-year university level. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of key psychological concepts and research methods. I aim to explain content in a clear, engaging, and relatable way, helping students build confidence, improve results, and succeed academically—especially those who may be struggling or feeling overwhelmed with keeping up with the workload.

About the lesson

There will be face-to-face classes and online as well to provide flexibility to fit your individualized schedule.

In our lessons, ideally having access or using a textbook would be beneficial so I can guide you through and help you gain a grasp of knowledge on topics outlined. At this stage, we will go through the learning content, certain sections I will phrase it differently catering to your learning style eg) for instance for a visual learner, I will use the board to explain concepts etc.
After you're familiar with content, we can go through and attempt practice questions or practice papers in relation to the content to get in the practice of answering them. If there are any issues or need clarification I’m more than happy to assist you with it.
The length of normal lesson anywhere between 1-2 hrs and exam or revision focused lesson around 2 half to three hrs to get most out of lesson so that your prepared.
