About Chloe
I specialise in AQA A-level chemistry, all my lessons are bespoke and tailored to each student's needs. My approach is interactive and student-led; bring a challenging topic to our sessions and I will develop a custom lesson plan to help you master it. I like to create a casual and relaxed environment, treating my students more like a friend whilst keeping it professional. Being a student myself, I know how stressful exams can become. My aim is to alleviate that pressure by making students feel confident after each lesson.

A typical lesson with me is interactive and conversational. We usually start by learning key concepts of topics you find challenging and then end with exam practice and past paper application.
I like to use digital whiteboards to help with understanding organic mechanisms, this enables students to really understand where the curly arrows are going and why. Unlike a normal PowerPoint this method of teaching really helps with memorisation and active problem solving.
Beyond our sessions, I provide custom flashcards to facilitate active recall and long-term retention. This ensures that every mechanism and definition we cover is reinforced and ready for exam day.
I enjoy the subject chemistry itself and my goal is to transform chemistry from a subject of memorisation to genuine interest and understanding.
