About Ines
Hi, I'm Ines! I'm a second-year Biology student at Western University with a strong passion for teaching and helping others learn. I’ve always enjoyed explaining concepts to friends, and I regularly participate in study groups where we teach each other new material. Being able to break things down and watch someone truly understand a concept is something I love. I’m a patient, supportive, and approachable tutor who believes that learning should feel encouraging, not overwhelming. Whether it’s math or science, I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and building their knowledge at their own pace.

I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing them. My teaching style is clear, patient, and interactive. I explain ideas step by step and ensure students feel comfortable asking questions. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, starting with homework or specific challenges, followed by guided practice using my own notes, assignments, and tests from when I took Grade 12 courses. I provide these materials to offer extra practice and a better sense of real test questions. Having recently completed these subjects myself, I can explain topics in a relatable and practical way. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin, which helps me support students from diverse backgrounds. I tutor Math, Biology, and Chemistry for Grade 12 OSSD and under. Whether you're catching up, preparing for an exam, or building confidence, I’m here to help.
