About Imogen
Hello, my name is Imogen and I am a second year BSc Biomedicine student. When doing my GCSEs and A Levels I had private tutoring as although I enjoyed Biology, I found it difficult to keep up in class due to being dyspraxic. Private tutoring restored my confidence in my ability and enabled me to reach my full potential as I achieved an 8 in GCSE Biology and an A in A Level Biology. I now tutor to help other students to realise their full potential and feel confident while completing their GCSE Biology.

My lessons focus on building understanding and confidence by practice. The GCSE specification can seem overwhelming so I help students discover their strengths and areas that require improvement by looking at the GCSE specification. We then pick what areas to work on and I will plan lessons accordingly. Lessons include an explanation of concepts and topics that the student is finding tricky in class and then we practice exam questions to ensure that the student can apply what they have learnt in an exam situation.
