About Amirul
I am a First year BSc mathematics student looking to go on to complete a master's after I graduate in mathematical finance. I then look to complete a PGCE. I have current students working on grade 8s/9s in maths and further maths and students that have went from U to a 5 in a few weeks of lessons. Over two years of tutoring and having success in GCSE maths and A level (now pursuing a bachelor's) I enjoy tutoring as it allows freedom to help elevate a child’s confidence in the subject when they may be at a low point. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping my cousins and family members with mathematics, and it’s through this that my love for the subject truly hit me. Watching their skills grow as I broke down complex concepts into simple, understandable ideas was incredibly rewarding. Knowing I played a role in their progress and gave them a valuable skill for their education and future is a true blessing, and it’s inspired me to share this passion with others.

I tailor my maths lessons to suit each student’s unique needs and learning style, building their confidence and understanding step by step. Once concepts have been clarified I tailor exam questions and practise to the exam board so that the student is ready for any questions. Assessments are made personally via a few sources of exam questions to test the child’s understanding and progress to see where they stand. Whether you’re tackling foundational topics or preparing for exams, I ensure engaging and effective lessons that deliver results.
