About Lucy
am a Film and Classics university student, who is hoping to peruse a career in the film industry. At high school I always enjoyed English, Media Studies and literacy based subjects (after learning how to cope with all those essays), and I want to help others feel the same.
I can help in all areas of Media Studies, from creating your own short films to writing you research assignments and exams.
It is easy to feel bogged down and lost as to where to start with essays and research projects, but learning how to approach your assignments from a place of enjoyment, with a broader sense of understanding can help everyone achieve their NCEA goals!

I love getting to know people and would looking to build lessons around how you like to learn and target the areas you are struggling with. I graduated from Nelson College for Girls in 2022 as Proxime accessit to the dux. I received NCEA level 3 with excellence endorsement, first place in Media Studies and Drama, and Second place in English, as well as several university scholarships.
My lessons would be an hour long and once a week, but I would be open to negotiating longer, or more frequent lessons depending on availability.
ALL LESSONS WOULD BE ONLINE, so I can reach anyone in NZ, at any level of NCEA.
