About Rachel
I am a second-year student at UCT, studying a BSc in applied mathematics and physics. I completed my A-level Physics, Math, and Biology examinations in May 2021. I have received awards for the top in Biology, top in Physics, and top across all three A-levels in South Africa. Because I am a recent A-levels student, I have a similar perspective on how you might learn and best understand the concepts. It also means that I am up-to-date with the syllabus and requirements for your examinations. I have been tutoring AS and A-levels for almost 2 years and have a good understanding of how to ensure the student grasps all the difficult content.

I approach each student with a different method so that I can align with their unique learning style and maximise their understanding. I go through each topic, section by section, and when applicable, highlight the links between them. The lessons are as slow or fast-paced to suit the learner's needs and I will ensure that the student fully understands the concepts before moving on to the next section.
I am offering tutoring lessons for AS and A-level students in Physics, Biology and Pure Mathematics. My own interest and passion for each of these subjects make the lessons more engaging and fun.
