About Amisha
I believe in order to be able to effectively teach something, one needs to have a profound understanding of it. As a medical student, I had to study hard to earn distinctions during high school and so would be able to teach others how to grasp even the most difficult concepts. I do not have any professional or formal teaching experience. However, I have volunteered and taught at underprivileged schools as well as tutored my peers and younger family members.

My approach to teaching is optimistic and positive. I believe that being patient and gentle is necessary in order for the student to be able to fully grasp all concepts. A typical lesson would include a review of current content focusing on the struggling areas and then the perfection of those areas. Once all concepts are understood, we would move forward to practice or learn new material. I am proficient in English and teach in English and would prefer to teach high school students.
