About Matthew
I am a current student at Loughborough University and did my GCSEs and A levels at Elizabeth Woodville School. I study Sport Science, Coaching and Physical Education at University and have always had a passion for sport, first playing, then coaching and studying it throughout my time in education.
I have always had a passion for helping others doing volunteer work at Age UK and doing sports coaching which has developed my ability as an educator and as part of my degree I have learnt about the acqussition of knowledge and the school system. I have a future goal of being involved in the edcuation sector as a PE teacher as my degree alligns well with this.
I am very hard working and dedicted so I will always deliver high quality and detailed sessions that help you achieve your aims and develop your knowledge of the required area.

My methodology focuses on supporting and being kind to students and helping them reach their potential in a variety of subjects. The lessons will include learning and acquistion of knowledge, examples to work through to offer clarification and the chance for learning, this will then be followed up with different activites to evidence what the students have learnt.
My lessons are for students doing GCSEs and A levels and can range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the students needs.
My main area of exerptise is Sport Science and related subjects as I have studied this at GCSE, A Level and now at one of the top Sport Universites in the world.
However my lessons can cover a variety of subjects at GCSE level this includes English, Maths and Science. I can help students with a specific topic they might be struggling with and help them develop their abilities. The subjects below are those which I have studied and can offer support to students.
My GCSE grades - English literature: 7 English Language: 9 Enterprise: Level 2 Distinction* Sports Science: Level 2 Distinction* Biology: 7 Chemistry: 7 Physics: 7 Maths: 7 History: 9 Spanish: 7
My support also covers A Levels in History, English Language and Sport Science having achived grades, A, A and distinction * respectively in these subjects.
